I have a client that owns landscaping firms in each of the below countries. What domains do I purchase for these countries and most importantly where do I get them?

I want to improve his rankings. All of my clients are #1 on Google because they own the the .com endings, but those don't rank overseas.

What endings do I buy for:

Austria

Belgium

Bulgaria

Czech Republic

Denmark

Finland

France

Germany

Greece

Hungary

Italy

Luxembourg

Netherlands

Norway

Poland

Romania

Russia

Slovakia

Slovenia

Spain

Sweden

Switzerland

UK

Any help is appreciated!

.US domains.US domains
If your client does business in all of these countries he should buy the ccTLDs of his brand. Most are unrestricted, and since there is a local subsidiary in each country, it will always qualify for the local extension anyway. Of course, it's not a replacement for local SEO but it is a start and it can't hurt to target the locals in their own TLDs.

I agree with sdsinc.
First you should go for the big countries :D like .de, .co.uk, .it, .fr etc.

As far as I know .ro (Romania) is restricted,

I agree, but my question is what extension for each country. Each one has the extension for the country, I just don't know it.

Here is a list of the cctlds.

Each have their own individual restrictions so it may be worth taking the time to look through them.

Godaddy,
name.com
internet.bs
eurodns.com (they have a little higher prices).
101domain.com
Or direct at their nic.ccTLD
For .bg, go at register.bg
for .ro go at rotld.ro

Some registrars offer many extensions, but I don't recommend them. You often pay a higher price for the 'convenience' and each ccTLD has its own peculiarities, that even registrars seem not to be fully aware of !
Also note that some like Moniker are in fact resellers for Key Systems. They are not registrar for all the ccTLDs available from them. Always void resellers whenever possible, only deal with true registrars.

For .de/.at domains I use a German registrar, a greek Registrar for .gr domains, a Czech registrar for .cz domains etc. Yes it's a lot of registrar relationships, but it's better than dealing with an incompetent outfit :)
Happy shopping.

Why void resellers? I don't see what's wrong registering domains at resellers.

If .de is not available for your keys use an .info instead. It will rank well in Germany.

Registrars are bound by icann /registry rules. Resellers are not.
If things go wrong with a reseller, like it's a one-man show and the owner has an accident or disappears, you can only hope that the upstream registrar will step in to assist you. Things like that do happen - after all anybody can become an affiliate reseller in 10 minutes and start selling domains :talk:

I see, so it is just a security reason.

You may also back up with .eu (European Union) but so far isn't so popular extension. Some may have restriction, example .sk is restricted. Good luck.

Ok, how about this. One of you want to earn $100.00?

I need someone to PM me and Ill pay 100.00 for:

1. Ill give you exactly what "key words" I need and I want you to tell me exactly the extensions to buy for the keys words and each of those countries. I want you to tell me "where" to buy them.

2. I know the Google code to rank #1 because I wrote it in 1998. One of the things it requires is the domain name. The exact match to be precise. So I need the exact match, in the countries language, ending in the extension. I cant take the name and rank it #1 in a matter of minutes.

so if any of you are interested in $150.00, please PM me.
