I've been thinking about how once the net and traditional broadcast TV fully merge, sometime in the next 5-10 years IMO and even before then, people will be accessing there web browsers via remote control. How will that effect the many thousands of channels that will be out there? Will shorter names be more valuable because it will be easier to access? Will numbers be better and easy to get to then letters at that point? Wouldn't having numbers (for example 200.tv) be a huge advantage to access via remote control or will searching keywords always to be the best? I guess if you can brand, having numbers.tv will be good.
Now unlike in the past, I haven't gone out and registered a bunch of number.tvs, although I have my sights on a few and wanted to get some opinions on if people have a lot of number.tv's in there portfolio and what their overall opinion of them is?
Thanks in advance for the feedback.
