What do you look for in expired domains?

Hi all. I'm wondering what are the things to look for when buying an expired domain? Google rank, page rank, high Alexa number or...?

Also, do you want high or low numbers in each of the categories?

I just look for a one word domain that is a word that everybody would use.

I usually check Google, Archive.org, & Overture

link popularity, blacklisted status, keywords, length, etc..

links, maybe alexa, PR(be careful maybe Fake), IF IT'S A COM, ovt resuts with and without ext and such things

I look for names that have good keywords and may appeal to quite a large market, now and again I get one just because I like the sound of it ! :hehe:

but I do check Google & Overture
