Like how do you get the domain to the buyer usually? Do you have to transfer? If so how and what are other ways you can get your domain to them cuz i usually just like to push

The most simplest way is to use the escrow services provided by Sedo itself.

Once you and the buyer agree on a price, the escrow service rep will get in touch with you (via an online portal) and walk you through transfer of the domain as well as taking receipt of the money from the buyer)...

I was a bit daunted by selling through sedo at first but once you have an offer, sedo walk you through the whole process. I just followed their instructions and all went through smoothly.

sedo maintains accounts at various registrars, so in many cases you will be asked to simply "push" the domain to "sedo's" account, at that respective registrar where the domain resides.

all instructions for the process will be posted in your account at sedo and you'll also receive email notices to take an action.

so make sure email is correct and enabled to receive from sedo

GL!

Only push the domain to a Sedo account - do not transfer especially direct to the buyer.

Sedo have to let you push to them because they promise to offer an escrow service. Which means they must take possession of the domain and get the payment from the buyer before the buyer gets the domain.

If you did transfer it would take longer to get paid and if it was going direct to buyer you risk never getting paid, so do not do that no matter what Sedo say. They do sometimes try to get people to transfer direct to buyer but if you just refuse, they then agree to have you push to Sedo.

Sales via Sedo for the major gTLDs are fairly straightforward and usually problem free.

Just bear in mind that some ccTLDs have certain restrictions and Sedo will make you transfer directly to buyer. The odd thing in these cases, they do less work, but charge more commission.

Thanks guys. Does it cost to push the domain to Sedo? And what is the process since you can normally only push a domain to another godaddy account

No cost, it's the same type of push - Sedo has accounts at the major registrars including GoDaddy.

It depends, from discussions on the forum, it seems sales can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to those dragging on for more than a month.

Most of my sales through Sedo, except for the ones that resulted in non-payments from deadbeat buyers, have been promptly processed.

After I make a sell on sedo. I pop a beer open and celebrate. Another sell done hoping next one would be for much more.
