What do you consider to be a high level of Keyword Searches Per Month

I have just compiled a list of all the keyword searches performed each month for the direct spelling of each of my domain names.

I have several cctld domains that have over 75,000 exact searches per month.

For example one of my domains is: flower.com.XX and the exact term 'flower' is searched roughly 178,827 times per month.

My best .com and .org domains have between 25,000 and 35,000 exact searches. However none of these have been developed.

By developing the .coms and .orgs i should be able to rank highly for my own domain name, and in return gain the lion share of all these exact searches which are the same as my domain, correct?

Just wondering how accurate are these keyword search levels, i use keyword discovery, though i think often there values are fairly low.

And what do you consider to be a nice level of keyword searches to purchase the same domain and develop?

I really only develop .coms, so I can't speak to the cctld part of the equation, but in my experience:

- any less than about 6000 searches a month isn't really worth my time developing. maybe drop that to 3000 if the CPC is high enough.

- the domain matching the search exactly certainly helps, but it's not a guarantee - a lot depends on the level of competition for the terms.

- the figures keyword discovery and wordtracker give are a bit weird to me.
e.g. I have a 3 word .com that supposedly gets approx 6000 searches a month for the exact term. I'm at the top 2 spots in google for that term. yet awstats reports that all my SE traffic is coming from other related niche terms, zero organic traffic from the exact term. so, as i understand it, something doesn't add up there.
