What do the E mean?

Hello what do the E in a domain name mean, for example ecars.com, estudentloan.com? Why is it so popular in some domain names, why not use icars.com or istudentloan.com is I in a domain name as valuable as the E? What domain name you should not use E in?

electronic. Example: email = electronic mail.

Electronic I believe. E was what they started to use first. Maybe they used it because I is a pronouns and icars would have sounded to limited.

"e" prefix is a bit passe ... and, most likely, would require solid content and branding to best add meaningful value long-term, IMHO. :gl: :talk:

I have a couple of spanish domain names starting with E you think that the same or its different with spanish domain names?

I think having the "e" prefix with a Spanish name would even more dramatically reduce the value of the name over an English one. I don't think there's been that many "e" Spanish names sold.

As long as ebay is around, 'e' will be forever in peoples heads, so really e is forever, if ebay is forever!
