What does "e" stand for?

Hey guys, do you know why people put "e" in front of a word? what does it mean?

"E" and "I" are just popular prefixes to keywords.

In a term like eQuotes.com it could be Electronic. The eKeyword domains are highly brandable as are iKeyword.

It doesn't have to mean anything really. Any popular eKeyword will sell for good money.

"e" and "i" definitely are more valuable than other letter.

e=Electronic
i=Internet

iBuyDomains, iRecruit, iSellHouses, etc

i - is great also but might be more of a trend, iphone, ireport, iblog, ipen, etc..
