Which of the two types of names has the biggest value in your opinion?

for example which name would have the biggest value:

I would say "e". People are more accustomed to the "e" prefix to stand for "electronic", as in "e-mail" and "e-commerce". :)

I think that "e" is most valuabe for the reason stated above.

Althoug, I think that "i" domains look a lot better... I have a thing about how a domain looks. when it is typed.

I would think "e" ones would generally be more valuable.

I just got ebritain.eu & ibritain.eu but would of prefered britain.eu !! :hehe:

I agree that people trend towards the e domains simply because we have so many such as e-mail and ecommerce. However, I don't think the I names are too far behind.

For some domains not connected with internet like Tourism, RealEstate preffix "i" in my opinion is more suitable as it may be used as of "information" shortcut. But for domains computer or technology matters more reasonable is "e"

By the way, what "i" and "e" domains do you have?

i have:
iTourism.eu
iPoland.eu
iRussia.eu
iEdu.eu

"รฏ" can stand for "internet" and from that pont of view it is as good as "e" for computer and internet related domains

Lets not forget ebay and etrade.

iHack is better than eHack

eCinema is better than iCinema

Its just what sounds better i guess. Any ways i guess e factor has more weight over all.

usually 'e' should work better, 'i' only works if you are building Estonian site.

e is more popular than i IMO

"e" is more popular even to non domainers. So if you're a reselling value, then go for "e" first. Dont forget to get "i"

Just my opinion.

iPods have helped the "i" though... imagine the iPod being named the ePod. haha...

'e' sounds much better than 'i' in general, but in some instances 'i' would be more suitable than 'e'. So i think it would more or less depend on the suffix added to 'i' or 'e'

The letter "I" famously made apple an "I"con but "e" is another wonderful abbreviation for "Electronic:.

In the case of domain i would say idomain.com makes more logic than edomain.com because domains can only be traded electronically and i don't see any reason why we should trumpet to the whole world that you're selling Electronic Domain. DUH!
Its like selling Vegetarian Vegetables.

2cent.
