What charity for the Katrina ribbon?

What charity should we select for our Katrina relief ribbon?

I've added a hurricane relief ribbon, but not specified a charity yet. I'm hoping we can find a good cause that is in immediate need, and send the donations that we raise on a weekly basis. I'm sure there are shelters or efforts smaller than the Red Cross that would benefit a lot more from the amount we can raise.

A sidenote, if anyone can suggest what a good ribbon should look like, please suggest. I've tried Mardi Gras beads and masks, but I can't find anything that looks good at 15 pixels high.

Hey Ron, you could check out this link - I had Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in mind. They are 2nd from the top left corner.

I've been trying to make a decent looking ribbon for the past hour now - to make a ribbon look good in a 15x15 setting is hard though :D I'll let you know if I get something decent up on the board..

I was wondering if the ribbon for Katrina could be like the cancer, tsunami, aids, etc. ribbon, but a different colour?

Is that an option? I'd love to work on one.

Yep, that is a good option. I just wasn't sure what color or colors to use for it.

Alot of colours are already used for other ribbons, so I don't think there are too many choices. Green is one, so is orange.

Any other colours in mind?
