Charity Ribbon

Hey

I was looking into buying another charity ribbon and saw a ribbon missing that I think should be there. This is a Heart and Stroke Ribbon. Procedes for this ribbon could go to to something Like the Heart and Stroke foundation!

Please give any/all input on this suggestion!

I made a suggestion yesterday for the American Heart Association.

Heart disease is the 1# killer of women in the US. 1 in 4 women are affected by it and it's 4x as more common than even breast cancer.

I'm disabled with it, and it would be nice to donate to a charity that is trying to help find a cure for a disease as well. It's personal with me.

This is a small list of some of the most chronic conditions not listed:

1. Heart disease.
2. Chronic Renal Failure (which is a horrid disease. Only 10% survive after 10 years on dialysis -- not everyone qualifies for transplants, especially those with heart disease [heart disease/diabetes/CRF are diseases that feed off each other, a person can have all three]).
3. Stroke (#6 killer in the US).
4. Mental Health (think of all of the Katrina victims who lost everything, and forced from their homes and their outcome for years).

Please consider these, as they affect people daily.

Good to hear, I was have been affected by this terrible thing... I lost my uncle to a heart attack, and want to prevent what happened to my family to happening to some one elses...
