I've just finished reading The Gargoyle, a brilliant if a bit odd book. I'm about to start reading Trainspotting, which my dad got me for Christmas. I doubt I'll like it…

Just about to finish The Quiet Girl by Peter Hoeg - set in Copenhagen with a clown who has super-hearing, a mysterious order of nuns and children with strange powers. All a bit odd really!

I just read Eragon for the first time, finally. (I think everyone knows what that is) It was pretty good.
I heard the movie was awful, but I think I have to watch it.

Oh, I gave up on Trainspotting after a few minutes, it's written with an accent (either that or the author just can't spell), so I had to really think about each sentence. So now I've started The Children of Hurin.
