Now with the internet being as popular as it is, do you still make time to read books (not e-books:hehe:)? If so, what was the last book you read? I can't remember reading an entire novel after I turned 16 so it really has been quite a while! I do love books though, I have this compulsion to buy great & useful books. I especially like dictionaries and non-fiction.

I am not a big reader. Most books I have are computer reference books.

I bought several computer reference books and I don't even have the patience for them! I need to get some kind of book on "how to prolong your attention span" now if I can only figure out how to sit through that one... :td:

I read all the time...history, politics, business, and Christianity. At the moment, I'm reading a book I bought in VA about the Civil War. I forgot the name of it. I'm too lazy to go and fetch it.

I only read Technical Books.

Recently, I've read 'Agile web development with Ruby on Rails' but the book failed to impress me to use Ruby. The book started with advance coding to beginners. Heh?

Just finished reading "Big Sur" by Jack Kerouac. Very nice and poetic.

Can't beat a good book, I'm reading One Hundred Years of Solitude at the moment. Try to read whenever I get some spare time which is less often than I'd like.

I read when I can't sleep...The last book I read was The Deathly Hallows...It took me 3 days to finish it but it's a lovely book..

I'm reading Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong right now. Before that I read To Kill A Mockingbird and House on Mango Street.

When I travel, I always bring something to read. If I don't have a book to bring, then I bring my Lifeguarding book and reread it. I enjoy to read but rarely have enough time to.

I am not a big fan of reading fiction books because I think they are a waste of time honestly but I love reading non-fiction. You actually learn stuff.

Agree...
The greatest of the great "Beat" writers.
On The Road is another JK classic.

I like fictions, esp. fantasy. It's very exciting, a lot like watching a movie. :xf.love:

I like old classics like Moby Dick and Treasure Island. Personally I don't think they write books like they used to. My favorite book of all time though is "Where the Red Fern Grows". It always makes me wanna cry.
