We know, one registrant has launch great discount for registering new '.best' (dot best).
My knowledge is very limited about this extension. But I have tried to register some new names. Such as:

And, Anyone can help me (or us) to explain how about the future prospects of this extension (dot best) for global market?

You can always secure your price by renew the domains for many years in advance after 5th August. I could not legally engage further than this year because our price is not only depending on us, it is also related to annual icann fees on names, ... so it's not just about us. But for this year you are saved and globally our more general trend is more to lower the .Best pricing like we did this year.

To be 100% transparent : I would also say for you that I am only speaking about the wholesale renewal price on our own. Each registrar is free to set the price they want up to our wholesale price but usually most registrars follow our pricing rules. I think it's good for domainers to understand that the final price is the combination of multiple actors (not just the registry or the registrars). It's the fees combination of : icann registry fees + registry fees + icann registrar fees + registrar fees (and sometimes even more like back-end fees)

Unfortunately it seems there are a lot of desperate domainers around here, just sitting around waiting for the next salesman to arrive and "help" them achieve riches.

People should realize that by listening to this BS they're simply throwing away money and enriching Cyril the Salesman.

Each single .Best domain should have a minimum value of $500 on the aftermarket for an investment of $1.99 at dynadot actually : https://www.dynadot.com/domain/best.html

The very surprising sudden popularity of dot-best domains here is I believe heavily dependent on Google searches displaying the same results and number of returns in correct or reverse order, i.e. best.madeira and madeira.best etc.

That is a nice benefit and the Madeira example was discussed in a DNW podcast with the .best registry. It was correct at the time with a number of other names I looked at having equal results (including Madeira) in search but since then it's 'possible' Google made an adjustment to reduce that occurrence.

Google may have already done the expected tweaking because I see a few recent examples where the correct name had say 500,000 results but the reversed name say 200,000 however they earlier may have been more or less equal. Of course, 200,000 is still extremely high because virtually no one uses some terms backwards so it should be much closer to zero vs 200,000 in many names.

Do you realize all Google has to do is adjust the search algorithm with new tweaking to completely eliminate the automatic favorable treatment given to the unnatural order term, to in-effect devastate the market for dot-best domains, which sales have been heavily based on it.

This thread has been FREE and incredibly profitable for dot-best registry.

I wonder if it is OK with Namepros for me to chime-in to a thread or start a new thread all about a new product I am launching where I can say in the thread (as Cyril has done) that my product/service "should have a minimum value of $500" even though it's now priced at a fraction of $500.
