Usually I don't do the shopping but yesterday when I went to the store I couldn't believe the price for a gallon of milk. Depending what kind you buy a gallon is $3.80-almost $5 per gallon.

Are there a shortage on cows?

$3.40-$3.60 range. It's ridiculous. I am from the land of the cows and milk is expensive!

Between $3.84 and $4.19. I remember 18 years ago, I had such an issue when a gallon of whole milk topped at $2.

So I guess the inflation isnt the bad. What is bad in this instance is the Cost of Living (COS) not catching or sustaining or equating to inflation.

I know in Los Angeles, housing costs $1200 to $2400 for a 1 bedroom. And if you earn $8 to $12 an hour. I can just tell you one will not be able to survive on their own.

So yeah a gallon of milk and its prices are outrageous. No matter what one earns. One would have to work atleast 30 minutes+ to earn that gallon of milk which is ridiculous.

I really couldn't even tell you, been so long since I bought a gallon. Living alone, the gallon spoils before I get a chance to use it all.

Sadly I remember when it was just over a buck a jug!

I assume the gallon is equivalent to our 4 litre jugs, :D
and price range is from $3.29 to $4.79 cdn

.

$1200-$2400 one bed room and $12 per hour shoow! Somethings just not right.

For grocery supplies one thing is tractor trailer driver and trucking expenses driving up. With ridiculous insurance rates and rising fuel costs it domino effects. 6 miles to the gallon and $3.50 per gallon adds up quick.

Its about $3.75 here in San Diego. I think if you buy another one you only pay half the price for the second gallon.

$3.75 and half off on the 2nd that's less than $3 per

Wild that San Diego is less than Kentucky, I'm surrounded by cows, Almost as many cows as horses.

Since were talking about cow's here. What's your take on cow tipping? Is it just an urban legend? Someone was telling me that if you freak a cow out (don't have a cow man") their milk would go sour. Can you shed some light on this issues if you know anything about it.

ROFL...Ok..OK so like if I get a cow I can put it my backyard. Its big enough. And I live in the city(Los Angeles/mile north of the 10 fwy). No one would know the difference with all the emissions from the cars would cover up the smell of the cow. And the city noise would cover the cow mooooooooooo's.

So greengambler bring a bucket I will give it to for free.

Since I worked at a grocery store up until the end of May when the price of milk was $3.29 a gallon, I was surprised to find the price had risen to $3.98 when I went today! :td:
