What are the best ways to find & buy domain names with traffic?

I've been trying to buy domain names with traffic at the godaddy aftermarket tdnam and though I have had some success I have found that people bid very high for traffic domain names (naturally) but high to the point where buying them for the inflated prices becomes unaffordable given the amount of traffic on the name.

I was wondering what other methods people use and places people go to buy domain names with traffic.

Thanks!

I've had very limited success going this route. As a general statement, I've been offered tons of low traffic (and low revenue) domains at obscene multiplies (like 10+ years).

I have to agree on this one.
Well, in the old time, you could just register all of the typo, and then in 4 or 5 days if you see no traffic just delete them and they will return your money credit:D(a.k.a tasting).

now they charge some money for it, but ya, it is still doable but just that costing you money.
