It seems that mobile devices have already evolved way beyond their original function as a phone and every year additional features and capabilities are added to them. Considering that most people like to carry around only one communication device that does everything for them it would be logical to assume that in the future many of the commonly used features and capabilities of different devices would be combined together in one universal mobile device that would be inexpensive enough for the masses to own. In addition to being a mini pc with internet access and having capabilities of playing and recording audio and video the future cell phones could perhaps have other features such as being able to monitor a persons vital sings and alerting them to any potential medical problems.
