What about the .us.com? Is it new? Will it do well do you think?

There are some great names available there. It doesn't seem you can buy a .us.com through GoDaddy though. Any thoughts on this extension?

.us will be big... someday.
.us.com will never be big... anyday.

well, its not a 'real' extension.

It's a subdomain, so the people that own us.com sell domains 'sub-domains' that piggyback off it.

i own one, because it is unbelieveably brandable. Double meaning
it's : AUCTION.US.COM
I got a buyer too recently, very good price. However the transfer process was so stupid, having to fax them, they never respond to emails etc,
the sale fell through in end on sedo
i would take the fonzes advice. Dont reg any & if you want something similar, get a .us or a .com & pay more

however for something like 'Auction', if it ever came up in .com you'd pay 7 figures probably. for .us probably 5 figures too.
so you'll have to be imaginative

Sounds just like the .au.com , it never went big.. and it won't get big. Most customers will probably just be like:

"Oh.. it was just a typo. I'll type it around the right way"

That's what they think of the .com.au.

.us.com .. sounds weird.
