I think .tech is very nice, is suitable for technology companies,easy to remember than .technolgoy, so i have registered the following domain name.

Wait, is .tech renewal fees really $89?!

I wouldn't touch a .tech domain with that kind of renewal fee. They are $29.88 at Uniregistry and I am very confident that the renewal fees will drop since they are pushing the .tech extension pretty hard and don't want most the domains to drop when renewals come around. Doesn't look good on the extension. Just as with .co, You can expect a 10-25% drop per year until they feel comfortable.

The ccTLD is being very well represented with 25% of the pie this week. We have one startup operating on a new gTLD which is BlueDot, a new company that aims to form health-care and energy businesses from federal research and uses a .tech domain for their site.
