Bought myself ąround 500 LLLs - you can never have too many short names, right? ;)

Nice buy for $500. Short is the way to go. 100x better to buy domains such as this than the other piggin sh$t people buy out there.

When I checked a random sample of LLL.tech (3k) almost 72% was gone.
Interestingly - a lot of non-CHIPS were registered in China.

Only 5 months in and there are already companies with .tech that are seeking venture capital. This will only increase. .tech makes much for sense than .io since it more widely understood.

(bottom since its none disclosed amount)

You never see 98% of the gtlds or cctlds being utilized after several years. Only took 5 months for .tech

Weekly update. Another strong week overall with the .tech extension constantly being in top 10 in registration numbers for all new gtlds. Yesterday, we had another round of more than 10k .tech registrations and it was second overall in registration volume.

I believe that this might have bought out all LLL.tech's

Wow, you are right.
I've had around 700 names left in my random 3K list. All were registered on 21 and 22. All by Chinese registrants.

So no more 3L.tech left folks - but don't worry, I've got around 1000, you can buy from me :P

How much are you selling them for?

I was joking ;)
I haven't thought about selling them yet - I will wait for prices to rise above $10.

Just out of curiosity I decided to check if there are any 4L CHIPs taken.
It seems like the guys who bought the rest of 3L also got some LLLL with patterns, eg
tjjj, wwwb, ddyy

Good news for those who bought 3L CHIPs last year.... Pity I only have 4, the rest is WP or pronounceable.

What about the trademark issues for LLL.tech ?
I have searched numerous LLL.tech which are available to register and all of them are trademarked. Do we face any problem if we buy them?

The domain and webmaster communities are going to experience a lot of confusion unless trademark laws are updated to handle the new gTLDs. Why didn't ICANN think of this before they unleashed the flood?

I think it really depends on how popular the gTLD becomes. They probably wouldn't waste time going after every new gTLD that comes out literally every few weeks. Microsoft.io will definitely get attention, while Microsoft.bible may be able to slip under the radar.

It's a decent gTLD that's been overlooked, but that'll be changing.
