These can be just as valid as ASCII LL.com, but in some languages it doesn't seem to work. In Chinese there a 50K characters and most words only have two characters, so there is not much Acronym action going on there. In Arabic letters stick together, so I don't think it works their either. There is no reason they should not be good in cyrillics or latins. Take CZ for example. The C is only used because it is the closest thing we have to what the Czech want to right, but the real letter with the accent is not an accented version of C. It is a totally different letter.
