Weird WHOIS of a domain I want

Hi all,

I want this domain name which is taken, but I can't actually find any whois information apart from the date it was registered and which registrar it is with.

For example:
http://whois.domaintools.com/thatsgottahurt.com

Created: 27-Jan-2000
Expires: 27-Jan-2007
Domain is available.

I then did a whois history, 0 results found.

So I then did a whois using register.com's whois site since thats who the domain is with and they said it's available! Yet when I tried ordering it they said it was taken.

I'm really confused, all I want is the owners info so I can contact them :/

I'm not sure why that's happening.You can try emailing Register.com...that's my only idea for you. :p Sorry.

As slider suggests, contact the registrar. If that fails you can report the whois as being incorrect.

The owner is given X days to update the contact info. If they fail to update it, or the registrar can't contact them, the domain will eventually be deleted and released for registration.

I managed to get into a live chat:

Steve M: I see that this domain name has been registered through a partner participating in Register.com's Global Partner Network.

He then told me to use the email form on register support section, so I just did that and will await a reply.

They said its a renewal problem, but the name was renewed in January, it's been like 6 months since in that case.
