Weird Whois result

ok theres a domain im after, it says its taken, but when i do whois it says NO DOMAIN

another whois gave me NO DOMAIN but also

Expiration Date: 22-jan-2007

anyone know whats going on with this?

it has expiration date so it must be registered whatever domain that is.

It's new so it may not have completely updated. I noticed the same thing happens with Whois Source during the first few days that a domain name is active.

it's freshly registered and the whois information is not yet updated.
YOu can try to reg one and go to whois and immediately perform a whois search.

It may have just been grabbed by one of the Snapnames (or Pool) affiliated Registrars ... in which, possibly, an auction ensued, IMHO. If this was to be a recent drop, I'd suggest keep checking back with WhoIs to get the new details ... my two sense. :gl:
