Wednesday Night At The Casino

I had another good night at the casino BUT..

It could have been better..

I went in with $100 and at one point I had $450 in my pocket and $368 on the machine (for a total of $818) AND...

I ended up spending the $368 back in and came home with $400 plus again. Good but would have been nice to come home with the $818!

That's what I get for getting greedy.. playing at the $5 level, the bankroll goes quick! (I was trying for the jackpot).

I would gladly take that amount. I went into a casino with 180$ and came out with nothing, those damn machines are addictive and they don't like me. I guess if I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have luck at all

I wish I lived closer! My ex-GF and I used to go as much as 3-4 times a week at times..

Sure.. I've lost before.. but I think overall, I've done pretty well. Beats my day job!

Well, you'll notice I spent back in at least half before I actually left.. you always hope for that one last good hit.. the machine I was on pays $500 for 5 aces at $5 and I'd already hit 5 aces for $250 at $2.50

The best part is I got the first $450 on a $5 bill starting at 50 cents a spin.. as my winnings increase, I increase my play.

This particular casino has lots of drawings (in fact they're giving away two Hummers Sept 15th) but no comps as they don't have a hotel attached and no player's club.

I do get comp from casinos in Kansas City and Tunica.. the last time I went to Tunica, I took $200 and gambled 5 days with all rooms and meals comped.

Hey, I work part-time 20 hrs a week for minimum wage.. the money I win at the casinos is my play money!

Dave, have they offered you any free things yet? Such as a hotel room, dinner, etc. Sometimes they do that to the winners so they will keep spending $$. Congrats on winning again!

Aww always good to hear of others good fortune as long as you are happy, dont spend more than makes it enjoyable .....live life ...its for living
