I've been using this site tester and my site seem to run slow at 28 second to load. Seems my old server was about 14 seconds, should i be concerned?

Pacifichost.com really sucks!

Since i stupidly thought to upgrade and try their company a bit long they say they only give a refund the first account despite the 45 day guarantee. This is bad business!

They are just another one of the many overselling companies that offer the "unlimited" plans. Chances are they have overloaded servers due to that.

You get what you pay for. Do some research, look around. My personal company offers 30 day 100% money back guarantee, because we know that's not going to happen.

We don't oversell or overload our servers and maybe that is something you should look for. A reliable host that provides you with what you need at a decent price.

Chances are you will never even use more than 1GB of space so my suggestion is to find a company start out with a lower end plan (ie $1.99 or less a month) and if you need more space or bandwidth its as simple as a support ticket

28 seconds if for the whole site, not just the first page.

-> too long, I see the average speed is 10-15 seconds

Most of my clients complain with anything over 4-5 seconds of load time, I can't even imagine 28 seconds. Time to move hosting.
