We all hate Moniker but I have to give them props for a well thought out page for choosing domain extensions. It's the first time I have seen a registrar actually break down different groups of extensions into niche categories.

Definitely makes it easier for an end user to choose a domain that fits the niche they are looking for. Pretty smart on their part. Link below

Yep. Very nice. It's a shame they won't be around much longer What was it? 60-70k domains lost in Sept? They must have started to fix their transfers away bugs

I guess this would make them decent for performing your domain availability lookups. I still wouldn't recommend going through with the registration using them! lol

It looks good but it doesn't change the horrible support and shady domain thefts that have been going on at Moniker.. I have removed all my domains and ain't going back.

Shady domain thefts? Hadn't heard about those. Any more info or links?
