As far as I understand the give aways with the Expo ended when the Expo ended. MSN and and another group were also giving away free $50 adwords vouchers as well. But if I remember right all three offers ended with the Expo.

I did get mine when it the expo was up and running. I took 2 days for them to reply and I was able to get a domain with them.

I got my credit today also and I am assuming it can be used for anything they can bill your account for so it wouldn't have to be used just for a domain name.
