I would register with Moniker now if not for them not taking Paypal or other payment options...would prefer a registrar that does.

Actually, Moniker does accept Paypal. Not sure how long ago they started, probably a couple weeks?

Ho long does it take before you here back from them? I submitted this morning and didn't hear back yet. Perhaps it's still early.

Just wondering.. they list their .coms at $18.99.... So $9.25 credit does not equal free domain... it equals more for a .com then I pay elsewhere... Is there a way to register .coms at a cheaper rate or am I missing something?

I was going to try the offer until I read your post.
This isn't a free domain then. It looks like that they doubled their fees and offered a $9.25 credit, knowing fully well that they would get their money back.

If you search NamePros, you will find a thread (several actually) from Moniker offering NP pricing for which the pricing is only $7.25/domain (for most extensions)...so this offer is actually good for a free domain and about $2 for another one.

As a side note, I have yet to receive anything back from Moniker from this. Has anyone else?

Until what day is this offer valid?

As for replying back: be patient. Moniker's got an excellent reputation, I find it hard to believe it'd be a scam, they'll reply to you in the end ;)

Tom

Me neither, I have not received anything from Moniker since last week.

Let's see if I can receive something by today or tomorrow at the latest.

Otherwise, I'll forget it.

I was not trying to imply that it was a scam, as I personally believe Moniker is the best registrar on the internet...I was just wondering if I was the only one who hadn't heard back yet, or if everyone else was in the same boat, which it now seems that they are.
