Be weary of any unsolicited PM's you received here on NamePros. Today we had a phishing scammer sending out links to what looked like a page on NamePros. In reality, it was a fake page that looked like NamePros and prompted for your username and password.

This scammer collected many NamePros passwords with this technique, including several senior members. Those accounts have been identified and reset, and I have emailed the users to let them know.
And for everyone -- this is a good reminder why it is a bad idea to use the same password across multiple sites, and especially on your domain registrar accounts! If you use the same password on NamePros as you do elsewhere, it would be a good idea to change it to something unique.
