I sold a group of domains back in September. The domains expired in November. Buyer apparently did not follow through on transfer, which of course is on him and not me. However, because I am such a super guy I said I'd renew them for him and push them over. But weirdly, although the names have not yet dropped they are not in my account.
So I go through support and they tell me where to look to find the domains, and mention in passing that there "might" be a "recovery fee."
And oh boy, how there is. $80.00 per domain.
I playfully, sort of half-jokingly forwarded a screenshot of GoDaddy's TOS and price list pages, and asked my rep to please help me find the part which says "$80 per domain recovery fee" but no response as of yet.
What a bunch of jokers.
