@NameJetGM will this glitch be fixed soon?

Wooah dude,

This is really off the hook!... waiting to see what sort of reason / response they provide for this!

Thanks for taking the time to make a video!

OMG, dying at the Hillary thing.

Elliot Silver reached out and got the low-down directly from @NameJetGM himself, who then responded publicly, it seems:
https://domaininvesting.com/namejet-addresses-missing-public-auction-history/

Timing of the deletions and the resulting action is coincidental though isnโ€™t it?

The thread I posted above about โ€œbidding on your own namesโ€ yesterday was being watched by the said person, and other named outsiders lurking on the nearly 4 month saga and ongoing thread comments, then this happens. You have to admit, the answer is a great coverup excuse to blame the EU privacy for the action though!

These clowns have been doing this for years, someone got sloppy, and blew the roof off of this, when people started putting 2, and 2 together.

Namejet is claiming some sort of privacy law issue or something, but when does namejet follow the rule of law, they are just a marketplace exchange afterall, as they state it. When it is ever so convenient for them they tend to reinvent themselves into something else.

If you are going to bid, know the usernames that are not so kosher, and know the usernames that tend to bid up, but never win. If anything is fishy, just back off, and most likely you will see it being reauctioned three months down the road once again.

Bidding aliases which were previously identified as possibly involved in shill bidding, even though showed various countries involved, were not located in European Union if the memory serves me correctly. So there is no basis for shill bidders to ask NJ to remove anything based on EU law.
Also, why would NJ, a US-based company, use European Law (which is not yet in force btw) to protect their auctions history from being publicly viewed? Saying nothing about the fact that bidding history by itself does not provide any personal information that is supposed to be protected...

I do believe there were Gibraltar addresses listed.

The EU thing is a red herring. Itโ€™s hardly amusing.

The intent is simply to wash away the past sins from public scrutiny. Poof. They are gone. 7 day public history for outside non participants, forever access for those who bid.

Next step will be to ban archive.org crawlers from recording history.

Then the wheels on the bus go round and round.

TY!

Nah, someone was like "hey, check this out...can you see anything if you look at old namejet auctions?" So I just made the vid knowing that we'd get an answer or bugfix asap.

ICYWW, this is why the video is down:
BTW - for the sake of transparency, had an hour long convo with Andrew this morning and privated my video.
He was upset about a word i used, and really it's not about pushing buttons or upsetting anyone, so not a big deal to remove it. I just made the vid in the spur of the moment.

But just wanted to set that straight before any rumors got started if anyone noticed it was down.

Anywise, kudos to Beezy for making videos. :snaphappy:
