Was a weird day today

I wake up to find out that the guy who use to bully me when we were kids died, his obit was in todays paper. Not real sure how I feel about that.

I turn on FOX News to see that bin laden has meantioned he would be interested in making a truce with the USA. And at the same time at the bottom of the screen it said France says it will not rule out a nuke attack against any country who supports a terrorist attack in France.

What a day....

Why would the US make deals with a murderer? The US has never made deals with terrorists. This is NOT a Bush thing. It has been this way for many years.

I agree there shouldn't be a war and Bush should just pull out and admit he was wrong about the whole deal...

No more people should die because of his mistake.

Say I hated the fact that Canada existed and I blew up a few buildings in the Winnipeg Exchange District, Scotia Plaza in Toronto, or the Canada Trust Tower in Toronto? And the USA flat out told Canada to get lost when they requested I be handed over? Would you support military action?

Nope just the ones who are runnign off to Canada and other places because they dont want to do the job they are PAID to do.

As this is a hypothetical question with no basis in reality I would say that I would support military action against the country harboring the terrorists.

Of course in the real world, Bin Laden is, was and probably always will be in Afganistan, not in Iraq where the US has concentrated all of their efforts.

After we figured out that the military plan was an abject failure I would consider other options. Options which the Bush administration refuses to consider to entertain at the cost of thousands and thousands of military and civilian lives.

I have not idea what you are talking about with your later statement re:soldiers running off to Canada.
On one hand you say you have no problem with soldiers getting killed but it seems the ones you have the problem with are not the ones dying for your failed cause.

And as far as Bin Lyings truce...that's another joke...I say agree only if he meets in person and then grab his sorry butt. Put him in the same cell as Sadaam and let them hold each other through the tough times...if Bin lying comes knockin on my door I would shoot him down point blank, strap him to the top of my Navigator and drive the thousand and some odd miles to CNN in Atlanta and drop him off. I dont see the USA losing... You need to get new glasses. Infact we just blew up 3 to 5 of them the other day.

And I brought that up because the ones going AWOL are the ones against the war. Some of the AWOL losers even said they didnt join to go and kill others...

and then their is Canada who does nothing wrong...just sits above big sister and points her finger. All I have to say is atleast the USA does something instead of sitting back and pointing fingers like most countries.

As far as not being able to take care of our own after a huge national diaster like mentioned...if the same happened in Canada guess who would be dishing out the dough and holding out a helping hand...hmmm
