Warning! NamePros Fraud Involving Msn

I was just approached by someone on MSN "[email protected] (E-mail Address Not Verified)" whom claimed to offer me moderator status here. All I had to do was make up a username and password (which I found strange because he didn't know it). Just warning others not to give your information out.

The confirmation letters I received by email all seem to be in Arabic, as are the pages to approve or deny the account.

I thought it was a prank at the start until when he hacked in i am closing the accounts now.

I also got fooled by this. I really hope you don't loose anything.

Since this scammer is taking advantage of my own reputation to conduct the scam I don't find it too amusing. Just be careful everyone. I, or anyone from NamePros staff, would never ask you for your login information or credit card.

This is very disapointing. I am fairly cross im glad he didnt hack in i closed all my accounts down. So i can use a new one. But you never no the sad ass could be viewing this at this minute!

I'm not trying to make a fool out of anyone ...... BUT - Red Flags should go off when things seem too "Good to be True" on the Internet or in Regular Life .... I'm sorry to see it happen - Believe me ! But people must take responsibility for their actions and reactions to things like this. I run test on people in the chat or anywhere before I'll even attempt to talk business to them - I guess because I was burnt a few times in my "Internet" Youth .... "Phishing" is an all to common thing now - I cant believe anyone that has been online for more than a week hasn't been exposed to it is ALL I'm saying.

Yes...yes you could...but RJ isn't around 24/7. I.E. This morning when the guy approached me.....and I got his IP if ya want it RJ.

How did he steal the money? Google intentionally make it so you can't change the name of the person who the money goes out to, designed to stop people getting the money, EVEN if they hack your account

What he did was to change the password, that's all I know. Hope he doesn't fiddle around with my channels.

YES!!!

I was able to reset and change the password! I am in and everything is as it should be - just had to change the language back to swedish. And as a bonus todays earnings were high, 4$ so far.
