Hey Donny, i know we've been going back and forth with this fail listing issue for a while now, but is there anyway you could help me out with the necessary steps I'd need to take to get ads displayed on many of my domains? It seems the ones I had sent you through PM along with a handful of others are all "fail listed" and displaying 1 irrelevant ad on the page. It's quite bizarre being "fail listed" considering I've done nothing with the domains besides park them.
Thanks again
av1atic - I normally don't like to talk about a customers account in an open forum like this. So I want talk specifics about your account, but I think you will be able to understand what I'm talking about. I thought I sent this to you in the PM, but I guess I wasn't clear enough.
This is my opinion and not anything anybody has told me. So I could be wrong, but I think I'm pretty close.
Google will faillist a domain for many reasons, but the most important ones are because the domain has too much fake traffic, invalid traffic, or spam. Whenever this happens Google will faillist your domain. If they find that you have too many domains doing something bad, they may ban all of your domains or just some of them. Google does not discriminate, it's a program that does all of the evaluations.
People ask me all of the time, well I just bought this domain and it's faillisted can you get it un-faillisted? No, I can't. That is not an option that I have.
People ask me if I can figure out why a domain was faillisted. No, I can't. But I can tell you that somebody did something really bad to get that domain faillisted.
I personally have 4 domains in my premium portfolio that are faillisted, one of them I bought at an auction and I found out the next day it was faillisted. The other 3, for whatever reason they were faillisted. There isn't even anything I can do.
Faillisting is a way of life for domainers. I personally would expect that about 4% of all domains that you own at some point will be faillisted because of the quality of traffic.
Hope this helps.
Donny
Banning account is a classic scam formule which parking companies do everytime.I hear that Voodoo bans after account saves money 2 months ,if it was fraudulent why didnt Voodoo ban account in first days? I dont believe to any parking company who say upstream provider has chargebacked revenue. Parking companies say this lie but they dont provide proof ,forexample screenshot of letters from upstream provider. It is valid for every parking company unpaid revenue of customers doesnt return to advertisers it only raises parking company's profit.
Well, there is another side to the story. From a business perspective, it wouldn't make sense for a parking company to ban good accounts, that would only hurt them. In this case, there just aren't any details to make any kind of judgement.
