I thought i would share with you guys this nice site i found as i feel it is a great example of .tv's & the power of video working on a local level. The site is an ideal example of how Geo .tv's could be developed for the local market, it includes everything for their area with lots of video content.

I like this one as it is not run by a massive company or 18 - 30 University graduates like many sites, it is done by a group of older residents who noticed the changes in Video on the Internet so decided a 'Local Tv Channel' via the internet would fill a gap that Traditional Tv companies do not.

I like this style of site, ideal for some of my Geo's maybe :)

I like the site and your right its a well designed site.

Glad to see an older generation with a vision.

One thing I don't like is there name and with a dash. But the website and design is perfect.

Go .tv!

I agree, great to see the older generation doing something really forward thinking. When reading about why they set up the site then they make a great point about in the Uk there is a lack of local TV Channels who can give all the local news, sport, information to the community (i believe in the US local TV channels are very common) With the changes in TV/The Internet/Bandwidth then local Tv Channels work perfectly online these days so i expect to see more & more of these type oF sites (these sites on Geo domains would make sense)

I personally really do not like hyphens as i feel they are harder to brand, market and make them memorable to users, i would worry that traffic would be lost to similar domains without the hyphen :imho:
