.tv A question for anyone with travel or local related .TV domains

I own one of the largest wedding web sites and, as you can imagine, travel is huge. I also have several travel related .tv domains. Has anyone explored developing a travel TV site. For example, have you contacted the local tourism board to get videos. Contacted local hotels?

I have some ideas on how to develop these sites, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience and/or advice? Considering the success of local Resort Channels (in major tourist destinations), I would imagine there is alot of video content and strong potential for online streaming of this content as folks plan their vacation.

I am also eger to know how to develop since I have the www.LvYou.tv which is the Chinese Pinyin version of Travel. Right now, what I did is just a forum with some travel videos from Youtube or other video sites. I must admit it is not attractive at all.But, at this moment I do not have other skills to develop since I do not know programming or scripts.

Hello, I have www.destinaciones.tv however; I have not at the moment ventured any further than registering the domain...

I am new at this, and I too am looking at ways to develop, market, and generate revenue...

I look forward to learning more and sharing ideas and experiences.

Hello George,

I am somewhat in the same type of situation. I have a couple of travel .tv names ( including onlinetravel.tv ) that I would like to develope in a travel portal, but as yet and not sure how best to start such a project.

On another site I run I have included a selection of travel related video clips from Google, Youtube and a few other sites that allow you to use their video content for free.

There is quite a lot of available content out there that one can use, but I guess my main problem is the time involved in beginning work on such a project.

Good luck though - the travel industry is HUGE, and there are many possibilities out there.

I also have a couple of .TV domains to be developed, not resale, all in the International Education market.

Would be interesting to see what other people are doing already. Videos certainly will be mainstream but them alone do not bring income so we need to find creative alternatives.

What about a central point/site for the initial promotion of our domains?

By seeing what our counterparts - travel - are doing we could also benchmark their most valuable points and improve ours as well.

I own Tourism.tv and I must say that I really do not see how I could develop that one at the level of its quality & diversity, I mean expectations of future users, unless I find a partner from the tourism industry, so far it is parked for sale waiting for the right offer. A pity.
