So what you are saying is that because virus remover has a hyphen that the keyword is not the same as one without,

To me that is rubbish the key keyword has the same value with or without the hyphen, as its a huge searched for keyword,

What you are saying is old school this is 2009 get with it dude

There is plenty of searches for remover

Virus remover: 60,500
Spyware remover: 368,000
Trojan remover: 135,000
Adware remover: 110,000
Malware remover: 14,800
Trojan virus remover: 6,600
Trojan horse remover 12,100
Spyware virus remover: 8,100

Total = Searches Each Month: 654,600

Source: Google keyword Tool:

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Month on Month Global Broad Keyword Searches…

Youre numbers are skewed b/c you are using "broad" try using "exact" in your Google search. Just because the word remover is in all those results why would that add value to your domain? Thats like saying "Weed-Remover.com" would have added value because the word "remover" is in it which has alot of searches. If you think that the hyphen has the same value as the non then you are living on a different planet - in terms of development yes but not purely in intrinsic value.

OK just for you I have done the "exact" match
I typed in the keyword virus-remover WITH the hyphen and this is some of the top searches that "GOOGLE KEYWORD TOOL" gave me ,

[virus remover] 18,100
[virus remover 2008] 6,600
[trojan virus remover] 1,000 - 1,600
[virus removers] 2,400 - 1,600
[trojan horse remover] 4,400 - 5,400
[worm remover] 1,600

Granted the searches have decreased with the exact match but still this is a shed load of keywords for Virus-Remover
I have left out the 100s of which there was many

I think you underestimate Google!!! I would say 95% of the keywords they give are related to viruses

They never once give me any results for "WEED REMOVER or WEED OF ANY KIND"
The word may to you seem two words!!!! But to Google they see it as ONE this is because they can join the two words up with or without the hyphen if they are relvent of which Virus-Remover is

IMHO you are living in a world of domains that is years old,

This may have to do with the fact that Google and Google only knows the algorithms and to say that one word holds less value because of a hyphen is madness, what your are saying that Google cant join two relvent words up because of a hyphen to make the same meaning

How mad does that sound saying the the biggest search engine in the world "Google"
cant join two relvent words up to make the same meaning without a hyphen
