Serious developers do not use hyphened domains. Best case is probably a security software affiliate webmaster playing the PPC game. So mid-$xx tops.

Hyphenated domains are awesome to develop and very underrated (Look at the hypenated sales thread). As long as they have decent Word Tracker, Google Results, and PPC Ads. This one does.

The hyphenated domain indexes the same way in Google. The downside is you won't get type in traffic. However, 2-3 Word Domains rarely get type in traffic in the first place. You will also lose some traffic to the non hyphen version

But, it is much easier to develop a domain with natural search, than to use a "Brandable" domain.

PPC Ads # 60
Max PPC Bid $4.4
PPC Income/day $132
Overture/mo 2244
Wordtracker/day 916

Good technical related terms but would be a lot more if it was "removal". I would say reg fee unless developed.

Personally as a webmaster / domainer. I wouldn't normally invest into a hyphenated name unless it was already developed.

I guess it all boils down to how competitive it is in that area. I do know that there are some extensions available for virusremover w/o hyphen

I also think it wouldn't be that hard to find 2 word hyphenated domains with similar search results.

I think you may be missing the point of the value of the keywords
Unfortunately for you, I am not missing anything. Virus-Removal is about 4x better.

Anyways, it's my appraisal, even if you like it or not :)

There are 9,900 "exact" searches for "virus remover" w/o a hyphen - with a hyphen it wouldnt get any type ins.

I say the value is about $10

So what you are saying is that because virus remover has a hyphen that the keyword is not the same as one without,

To me that is rubbish the key keyword has the same value with or without the hyphen, as its a huge searched for keyword,

What you are saying is old school this is 2009 get with it dude

I concur with the 'removal' part. But the amount of searches alone will increase the value. Accounting for the low no.of searches and the hyphen in the domain - your domain is worth mid-high $xx.
