Can anyone provide me a link to the "best" free virus remover?

My significant other just told me she has 400+ viruses on her computer
So I am on a hunt to find her a good program.

Install Kaspersky trail version and get The PC scanned and cleaned. You can remove it later since it only a 30 day trial. Thats the best way to get rid of most virus.

Before that use few spyware guards and remove all spywares

Spybot, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Ad-Aware

use Avira virus guard for long term protection since its free.
