Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

IBMโ€™s New Artificial Neurons a Big Step Toward Powerful Brain-Like Computers

Thanks to a sleek new computer chip developed by IBM, we are one step closer to making computers work like the brain.

The neuromorphic chip is made from a phase-change material commonly found in rewritable optical discs (confused? more on this later). Because of this secret sauce, the chipโ€™s components behave strikingly similar to biological neurons: they can scale down to nanometer size and perform complicated computations rapidly with little energy.

nice
along similar lines.. I always liked the VRimplant(s) domain.. but was too late to handreg it.. and I think was offered here on auction for cheap in 2015.. but.. I managed to walk around it. hope it paysoff to whoever has it. prolly reading it now.

implants of all kinds are also part of future imo.

I grabbed implantablevr- talk about tetherless. Already have implantablecomputers.
"Implantable" sure is a clunky word, don't like it at all but it may be the phrase used one day. Hope so but hope not at same time.

I own VRimplant.com and sold VRimplants.com to pay renewals.

hmmm... I had a similar spont happening few months back and regged VirtualTe.ch
checked VRte.ch back then too.. would have prolly been my first choice... but was not avail
oh well.. guess they come and go don't they. randomly like our spontaneities. heh

nice hack. gl.
Interestingly I did look up VitualTe.ch too. I was a bit surprised it was regged and yet vrTe.ch was available. Now I know; Sometimes it's chance.. Tech is a big market; hope these names do well.

What would you do?

So today I went to check on my domain KarmaVR.com and found it to be down and inaccessible. I had thrown a simple wordpress lander on it a month or 2 ago. I was negotiating with these guys starting a business I had already gave them a fair and respectable price and after agreeing to a price the senior honcho came back with an insulting low xxx and bragging about who he's been working with in the VR space and I have a small window to sell to them as they just hand regged Karma-VR.com. SOooo I was like, thanks for the info bud, I didn't know you worked on Avatar, the name is no longer for sell.

So today I check on the name and I can't log into the wp-admin section and it's completely gone. I have no proof of wrongdoing and I'm no conspiracy theorist but I have some 800 vr domains and have never had this issue via bluehost ever. I am so tempted to forward the domain to a certain Karma Sutra NSFW site:laugh:.... but I won't lol ... just annoyed. Could just be a coincidence. Thanks for listening.B-)
I would just delete and re-install it, just do this via your cpanel. If that does not fix it contact your hosting company. Sometimes things go astray. Perhaps this thread will help .. https://www.namepros.com/threads/using-wordpress-for-landers.932235/

I find it interesting that the two biggest acronyms for gaming and po#n are not actually in the Virtual Reality genre. Vrg.com and Vrp.com are not related to Vr .....this could lead to opportunities

I found a company I am connected to is using C1VR.com as their company address. not a chinese company.

stands for
Condition
One
Virtual
Reality

I like how they chose 1 instead of One.
probably because the domain was still available for handreg.

seems like when there is slim pickins startups will come up with creative solutions for their brand domain address.

does this give people ideas?

kinda seems like part of the whole convergence of VR domains with LNLL.com and LLNL.com with VR in it facination by the Chinese market.

Seems like western VR companies are finding such domains appealing since they are "out there" for the taking. LLLL.com's fetch a high price.

when all such LNLL.com and LLNL.com perhaps we'll see actual sales with such combos.

It does look promising though to see such a company use such combos.

The company name sounds cool too.

Savant-a person affected with a mental disability (such as autism or mental retardation) who exhibits exceptional skill or brilliance in some limited field (such as mathematics or music)

A very intereating topic actualy.
