Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

VRCouch

Demand and products/companies for gaming couches are on the rise and I can envisage the same trend for VR. Users will want to be comfortable putting on VR headsets for prolonged use imho.

I've never heard anyone use virtuality to refer to the concept. VR or Virtual are better/shorter keywords.

I agree but http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/virtuality

Another is if you type in virtuality.com it redirects to sbglabs.com/ who are actually building plenty of vr related stuff

plus when searching virtuality goggles all i get is stuff about vr goggles

just a thought as most if not all of the really good vr+keyword and virtual+keyword domains are long gone

What would your assessment of my following purchases today:

VR bong

Bong VR

VR bongs

Bongs VR

All dotty comS

I'd rather not get into valuating names but lets see if you can do it yourself.

1st, ask yourself realistically,
Who are the potential buyers of these names?
Do they have alternative names that are just as good or better for the same or less money?
What would their use of them be?
Who might likely want to advertise on that site ?

Yes, the end user has to worry about his/her ROI also.
You want them to spend 1k or more, can you show them that no other name will do it for them and they have a chance to get a ROI using the one you have for sale?

Why not look at the media side of things.
If media is what VR is going to change in a big way then the first place to look is where all the previous money in the media names has been spent.. Because it will change, right ?

Just a hint.

(to all others that have been messaging me, I can not send messages. I am in the spam trap... sorry)

Did you guys use some drop-catching platform or did you hand-reg them? I gave up after a few F5's. Really like UrbanVR as a brandname.

F5 ftw! Having my NameSilo account preloaded also helped, no messing about testing coupons for that one. It's brandable and it also works great for worldwide virtual tourism.

Ahh nice. Word of advice, I wouldn't share the name until it's in my account.
