Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

I can definitely see value in survivor as fear is a strong emotion im sure they are going to exploit that for entertainment. Very nice on that regg!

I think VRpototo can be used as a brandable across many VR niche businesses. It passes the radio test and very memorable.

You could have a lot of fun building out that VR domain...

vrpotato is generally used here by ppeople like me as the bottom of the bottom of absurdity for a keyword domain. meaning that if potato makes it big, then so can everything and anythign else. however, your comnent makes sense and seeing recent trends I'd tend to agree that any domainer can wake up rich or richer one day no matter what sits in his portofolio. starvr for 7k comes to mind here too.

Really the possibility is endless and i saw an article the other day of ceo's arguing about what is better vr or ar he said.. nobody wants to be reminded of thier crappy apt when they want to escape. So true!

right. whcih is why 2 month ago I wrote on this thread that I'd take vr over ar any day.. cause most people want to escape reality not augment it lol

I agree 100% I think in the business world ar would have more of a edge and popularity.

I regged vrFear dot com with the idea of using VR as immersion therapy to overcome fears and phobias. Claustrophobic? Sit or walk around in a virtual room with a comfortable size, and then gradually have the room become smaller and smaller as the user becomes more and more comfortable.

After VR is mainstream, I think acrophobia is going to disappear in most people. Or... at least I hope, since I myself am a victim of towering heights.

Amazing domain!! I agree it would be so beneficial to people with fear of heights,insects,elevators and the list goes on forever . I wouldn't take anything less than 5000 for this . Not to mention you can go the other way and use fear as entertainment.
