Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Quick question to everyone here:

As a domainer investing in VR names, you obviously must have some faith that VR will be inevitable, groundbreaking, and successful.

Are you going to buy one yourself when it is released? What type of game/experience are you looking forward to most?

VR is already successful because this tech attracted huge investors like Facebook, Google, Sony, Samsung, HTC, and Valve+other smaller companies, my biggest hopes are in AR because is estimated to have 4x bigger in market size than VR in 2020.

The ones my wife won't care much about, LOL :p

Joking aside, I'll probably be a slow adopter, waiting to see how technology advances first, reading about epileptic seizures and other sensory and health issues early tech will probably be causing. Too old for being a guinea pig, I guess.

I will buy the Rift and the Vive. Simulations are my favorite games.

Says only 1 study. I'm familiar with both technologys and I don't belive it. Where is the immense potential of AR, that explains that it will dominate VR that much?

What are the absolute top (most valuable) VR domains?

VR.com (obviously)

Top keywords:
VRGames.com
VRDating.com
VRSex.com
VRCasino.com
VRGame.com
VRPoker.com

Any more obvious ones?

VR Consoles? VR Glasses?

VR TV? VR Movies maybe?

What price would you put on these best names?

Both technologies are very promising. What I think that it will make that the AR outdoes the VR is the fact that while the VR requires the creation from zeros of 3D environments, AR used real environments and will only have to generate 3D objects to interact with the real scenario. This drastically reduces the times computer graphics programming and at the same time avails itself of objects of common use. The VR will be primarily immersive to escape from reality and create new worlds and access content.

AR can use any everyday element of life and increase the possibilities of interaction.
Call it The Rise of Things.

good smart hunting

@marioct - vrmario.com is available ;) Maybe Nintendo would buy it for millions... hehe

You alright Mario? You mentione
VRGames.com
VRDating.com
VRSex.com
VRCasino.com
VRGame.com
VRPoker.com

The keywords themselves without the VR have these search volumes and CPC:

sex
30,400,000
Low
$0.17
โ€“
games
9,140,000
Medium
$0.18
โ€“
game
7,480,000
Low
$0.20
โ€“
poker
550,000
Low
$20.87
โ€“
casino
368,000
Low
$52.63
โ€“
dating
368,000
High
$2.40

xxx
124,000,000
Low
$0.08
โ€“
porn
101,000,000
Low
$0.27
โ€“
pornos
3,350,000
Low
$0.08
โ€“
fuck
1,220,000
Low
$0.34

While Sex has the most traffic, the gambling niches have extremely high CPCs. The keyword 'sex' itself doesn't mean it's dirty and profitable, it could just mean they're learning about sex without porn.

'XXX, porn, pornos & fuck' - Well we all know why the traffic for these keywords are enormous, CPC is low because there's a lot of competition but so what? The traffic makes up for it.

'Game and Games' have really nice traffic too. Games is higher because it's said mostly in plural form naturally when we talk about games.

Dating is a mix of medium high traffic and a not bad CPC. This no doubt is a valuable niche.

These stats are taken straight from Google Adwords Keyword Tool, so the CPC means what a site owner is willing to pay Google for clicks to their site. Someone who runs a gambling site can make an awful lot of money from Google even if the traffic doesn't compare to Sex.

VR-Healthcare.com
VR-Doctors.com

There was a study where surgeons gave their patients an Oculus Rift during the operation. I'll look for it a bit later and send the link. They found that preoccupying the patients with a relaxing VR environment calmed their nerves dramatically. I thought it was really neat!

Fliporium thanks, I'm fine a little nervous but well, my speeches today have tried to be humorous and not with annoyance, dnvia and I have very good relationship.

A hug friend.

On the other hand I agree that simulators will be very important, what happens to move to domain names gives results very long name,

vrgolfsimulator.com, vrcombatsimulator.com, vrflightsimulators.com

Do you think Vostros to about this?

In addition to those checked simulatorvr.com and simulators.com

As for the AR, I do not think it will be developed, at least in the short term rather than the VR, he said this will be as explosive and any RA will, in my humble opinion a little slower.

AR in the professional sector can be a major boom, arpro.com would genal, but I could not register, I went to get very late, but arprofessional.com is also good, this if I could reg. right now

greetings,
Mario.
