Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

.US domains.US domains
"why so serious?"

just kidding

well.. with mixes like this you are probably going away from mainstream interests and buyers which look for simple things. the simpler the better. its not for nothing that one word domains rule and 10 word domains suck.

the longer they need to look at your domain and try to figure it out... the less likely you are going to end up with a buyer.

my opinion of course. this is why I avoid 3 word things and I personqally always avoid putting vr elsewhere than stqart or end.

cheers

I absolutely agree with you, the best domain is a short and sweet one.

The keywords: online + VR + keyword does appear to have a full four words in it, but I think "Virtual Reality" can be regarded as only one word. As for the problem of the domain now having three words in it, let's look at this way:

Online Virtual Reality Sex. When I say that in my head I can actually see that as something people would say, "I'm having online virtual reality sex later on, care to watch?"

Online Virtual Reality Casino. Oh man I see that as having good value, "Hey, lets meet up at the online virtual reality casino later."

Online Virtual Reality Shop. "I know an online virtual reality shop where we can try things on online"

What I like is they sound like they can be common terms or even maybe dare I say, big tech.

I'll be watching you Mario lol

It seems like VirtualReality is a bigger thing than Drones for domainers. It's interesting, since I used to consider drones to be a bigger market.

well said

but from my view, by the time we will be saying things liek this, we will be deep enough into it to be calling it vr and saying it V-R...

in the same way that today we do not say.. wanna see my new personal computer.. and we say.. wanna see my new pc? ;)

Hello gentlemen, in this business, it is not good to use that kind of general rules, each keyword is unique and must put the VR where you have more common sense and where it sounds better, you're disregarding the VR by right and I think it is a mistake. In the Oculus Mobile VR Jam projects ( vrjam.challengepost.com/submissions) you'll check and what I say. A large part of end-users will be companies and product names as hardware, app and games and in these cases the VR on the right is more commercial. Although as always I say use your intuition.

Exactly :) Mario got himself some online VR domains:

"Hey, let's go to the online VR shop instead to look first"
"Oh boy, I can go for some online VR sex right about now..."
"That frickin' online VR casino took all my money again!"

i'll say one day sex and casinos may only exist virtually therefore even using vr will nto be needed.

yes
we use our intutions always

i was merely pointing out to the fact that there is a reason why currently you can make any list of regged vr+keyword domaisn, then reverse that list to keyword+vr and you will notice that say 50% of latter are not regged.

i do not call this chance. i do not pretend to know all the reasons why it is so. i am merely pointing out that it is so. and thta i chose not to disregard this fact when i reg my stuff.

Yup, maybe because anything can happen ... lol the thought of that just blew my mind ...

We still need verbal stepping stones to get to that point though lol.

Of course you are wearing right at the of that recorded much more with the VR on the left, that is a fact that can be seen in all listings. What I mean is that this forum is is reporting that it is always best, as an ancient dogma, register with the VR on the left, and although in most cases there are exceptions and they are many. An example registered RIVERVR dot com when I saw that Rothenberg Ventures was injecting money in startups. I have also registered the VRRIVER dot com and no I did, I followed my instinct and hit squarely. If it had followed the standard as an automaton would have not sold it yet. It is an example, but there are others. A pleasure talking with you.

And since I see that your profile picture is the Joker,

VRJOKER or JOKERVR ?

these two domains are two members of this forum.
