Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

well..yes of course you are correct.

but I am not talking about company names here.

this is exception.

I am talking about everything other than company name.

and for that, the rule is vr+keyword.

I completely agree that for a compqany name, it should be keyword+vr

thanks for pointing this out.

very cool
I had a pending sale on godad for vrmain for $100 but no one is paying. it might cancel out

I also regged VR BUTTON a week ago.

I guess vrcontrols reminds me of that a bit.... like 50% reminds me of it.. so I'd say umm $200.. at some point in future ;)

I like it. When I say it, I say it in my head as, "vr triple x" the all encompassing, triple x world of virtual reality adult entertainment hehe.

For a company idd keyword+vr.com.

But when you have vrcasino.com and some company like Playtech (casino.com) investing a lot of money and the site generates millions of visitors a month. There will be enough people typing in casinovr.com. Because when the visitor first thinks about the subject (casino) this is often the first thing they type-in. So vr+keyword is king but when you are taking above situation in mind you know that keyword+vr are more then good enough to register (traffic wise) for making a good profit.

true
but then you are gambling even more.

vr+keyword is already a gamble

so if you making qanother gamble within a gamble then it's like dreaming within a dream or something

or like playing 5card stud poker.. and throwing dice to decide which cards you want to exchqange lol

vrmobile sounds better than mobilevr (or not...), but Mobile Virtual Reality sounds better than Virtual Reality Mobile. In my opinion anyway. Mobile Virtual Reality will be a technology.

Some of the VR domains I'm seeing registered look problematic to me though, too many keywords and in industries I don't see a big need for a virtual reality version of it, not anytime soon anyway.

It might just be me, but I think mobileVR sounds better than VRmobile here.

to me its simple:

mobile used before vr implies its about mobile virtual reality..

and mobile after vr pretty much turns mobile into noun.. as in maybe.. ummm.. a mobile phone or something :)

that's how I see it.

still, there are all kinds of exceptions based on waqy things sound. I had no problem for instance registering vrkinky

to me it makes enough sense.

True, but think of it like MobileApps vs AppsMobile. Sounds better to me as an adjective in this particular case.

Latest additions:

VrCustomizer.com
VrSocializer.com

basically i found most (developed sites, end users etc.) with VR as suffix to be brandables, while Keywords tend mostly to include VR as prefix..

i gues it gets tricky

plus the main actual kw may effect things bit too.. vr vs apps. etc.

so I think yo have to take all that into account.

I guess some adjectives you can more or less turn into nouns and get away with it.. but again, that coudl depend on main keyword.. be it apps or vr.

My 1 domain for the day is..

TEARVR.com

Tears are eye related. The name could suit a design company called TEAR specialising in both AR/VR.
