Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Well I bought VR5.com for high $XXX. I know, LLN are generally not very good.

It's an aged domain as you might expect @ 18 years. Personally I think its a beautiful brand-able name.

Worst case, I sell it on for $XXX. However, I intend to keep this one 2-5 years. Wish me luck!

Investing in a good VR domain is like eating a mango, you need to wait for it to ripen otherwise it won't taste good.

I own both mVRporn.com and iVRporn.com.

Very good in my opinion, with the "mv" I have include: mvrgames.com, mvrapps.com, mvrheadset.com, mvrforum.com, osmvr.com ....

With the "IVR" I also really like I have: ivrzone.com, ivrcasino.com, ivrdating.com, ivr360.com, ivrheadset.com, ivrgaming.com, ivrpoker.com ..

Mvr already used as mobile virtual reality, for some time, google can econtrar for example, a 2006 study.

Also used as a company for its products, but more importantly is to come, I am convinced that the end acronym implemented, and there are still many good domains.

I hope so, I hope not mistaken, I have invested heavily: mvrchat.com, mvrkit.com, mvrsite.com, mvrtravel.com, mvrnet.com, 3dmvr.com, mvrcontrol.com, mvrcontroller.com ....

mVR meaning mobile virtual reality. Oculus and Samsung created GearVR. Oculus created the headset and worked with Samsung to help them create a smartphone that is both quick and precise enough to have a good VR experience. They will have an official launch later this year when the new Note phone is released.

Oculus's CV1, or "Consumer Version 1," is going to need a computer with decent graphic and running power to handle all requirements for a smooth and motion-sickness-free experience. Because the technology isn't *quite* there yet to get information transferred wirelessly in just a few milliseconds, there will be cables running from the PC to the headset.

Many members of Oculus have stated that the foreseeable future of VR is a portable and wireless setup. Kind of like the mobility of the GearVR, but with the power of an expensive PC.

IVR, according to wikipedia, could mean "Immersive Virtual Reality."
The "i" could also be an Apple-like prefix, should they decide to release a VR setup of their own.

As for the "IVR" the immersive and interactive i is, in my humble opinion, very appropriate, perhaps within two or three years for now.

Moreover there are "some" company that their products also begin by i, if it gets in this business I am sure that well help assess domains that begin with her.

Anyway in this business it is to anticipate, not ?, if you understand that there are possibilities there are to go forward, if you wait to see if the term is established is late.
