Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Only invest what you can afford to lose.

well.. 12 months still is a pretty long way to go.. for offers and deals... and sometimes one deal pays off your entire portofolio.. so imagine that for an investment.. one name pays for everything and leaves you with everything else as potential sales for virtually free.

however, unless you offer some choice and variety and some numbers, that one deal may simply never come

so quality is all good and great.. but you also need some numbers.

so I guess domaining is a bit like gambling in the end... it's just more fun and less risky.

It's always the case, v for virtual

To us, yes, but other people sometimes relate V to something else. I can name a few websites where V is either used as a name or means something else like Victory, but yeah in this context, it's probably Virtual.

I never bothered to register V+keyword unless keyword started with an R.. like vretirement or something.. I personqally did not want to end up with vrretirement

but if you got selling experience with things like vrpayment being equal value and meaning to vpayment then I guess all the better for the folks trying to still squeeze in few hndregs
