Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

how are people selling names like vrflash / snapvr?, to end users? if so who?

I can't imagine people using type in traffic on these so I don't know how to market domains I have like this...

Could be good for gaming or spirituality seekers, I only added it to my list today, just had to have it kept playing on my mind :P

I do have a list too which has grown to about 5,000 names, probably of which only 400 - 500 are any good, but thats the domaining game, gotta love it!

I actually like this name, nice brandable VR domain :)

I can see a few listed for $1000 BIN so il see how long it takes for those to sell before I price mine.. :)

I have VirtualHeels which has had two offers in the past, not expecting much for it, but the offers were low balling.

Hi, I mean how would a buyer (who probably already owns the company name) find a random site like "snapvr".... even after listing on sedo surely its hard to find end users since these are already established with a brand name?

unlike generic names like "vr headsets" which can be targeted to companies making those? if that makes sense?

well.. my prediction before in this thread was that handregging somethin tofday and making xxxx from it is highly not likely

handreg and make xxx from it is doable

handreg and make xx is very doable.

I apply this to 1-2 yr max hold.

so as a rough outline of things, with exceptions to everything as always, I'm sticking by this and this is how I approach a handreg of anytihing VR that I may want to invest in today.

I will give you a simple logical reason why specific VR names are doing less business than brandable VR ones:

More start-ups emerging require a brandable VR domain, why would a new company ever reg VR+exact keyword???

VR brandable at this moment = $$$$

well.. I'm thinking many looking on sedo use VR as keyword. in qwhich case snapvr shows up as easily as vrsnap

Yes very true, making xx or low xxx is quite easy, but it still takes time to wait for the buyer to come to you. To handreg now and make xxxx is quite rare, although you see some of the experienced pros on here register some great handreg's sometimes.

Thanks for your reply, what i meant was, e.g., for your vrsnap domain, did you simply list and wait or reach out to end users.. for brandables like this what do you do?

thanks!

Somebody emailed me and I simply informed them where they can purchase the domain from.
