Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Acquired some high end aftermarket names, and I have finally completed my VR collection now.

Pushed high xxxx into the tech now.

You may still find top names available for hand-reg in more risky technology, ie technologies that are up and coming in 2 to 10 years. Your risk is that the technology is not viable, or not possible in our lifetimes.

well yes.. I guess you are right.. anything uncertain has potential and risk.
but risk usually bigger than potential.

i mean at some point you just gotta also consider whether domains, websites, internet etc will all be still around many years from today..

when you are registering domain today and hoping it pays one day, your essentially making an assumption that this system of navigation and domains we know today will be in place in future. and I am sure it will be.. maybe for some time.. maybe forever.. no one knows.. who is to say something will not revolutionize everything as we know it in future. could be anything.
in same waty that internet revolutionized our lives today.

Very true alcy, I sometimes think what could or will replace the internet \ domain name use as addressing as we know it.... but then if I could think of it I would be rich hehe

yeah.. well.. anyone who invested huge money in some great .coms today is probably okay with his investment for 5 years.. maybe 10.. but if that guy thinks he's holding to gold forever then I think he might be in big suprise one day.

I mean who could have predicted way back internet will be what it is today.. so its just natural for no one to be able to predict the next steps.. except for couple well plugged in people.. probably same ones who made millions off internet and .coms to begin with.

prepare yourself to be asked whether it's a recent handreg

Do your research about regulars over here, the basics as well, and then ask as many qualified questions, they would be very much welcomed then.

grrr.. i almost had bought vrcenter.com myself this or the other week if Nitin had not been faster.. wanted it to complement my already owned VRcenters.com to get a monopoly on the terms "vr" & "center/s"

@Nitin
anyway, congrats for the quick buy.. guess u took it for the BIN of $3,500 straight away at Sedo ;)
can't go wrong with the term "center" as it will surely rise a lot in demand and value..
