Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Hello mls-domains,

Thanks for your input in the other thread. Just wondering what your view is on hyphens in domain names, as I see you have just regged one. I tried to not use hyphens, if I did I might have got better KW combinations that made more sense, although I was told by another domainer that using a hyphen could typically reduce domain value by 90%?

i just liked this domain, very good word combination i think
but hey, im just a beginner aswell, i think overall avoiding hyphens is a good idea

I suppose as long as the name is strong then using a hypen still can give good results.

Fair enough @Mads.

It was $75. I honestly thought its worth a little more than that since V-R obviously stands for virtual reality now.

FYI. It's taken in all other extensions.

I guess I'll just let it go.

n .NET / .BIZ / .CO are website that have nothing to do with Virtual reality.

If if anyonez interested on v-r(dot)extension they have to dump COM/ORG/(CO.UK)/TV etc..and jump down to hug .ME

N its very, very very long way down the lane!! IMHO.

To be fair there are not a lot of websites on VR because it's in it's infancy. The fact that there are established websites that are unrelated to VR is a good thing.
