Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

For the most part, I'm holding out for when VR takes off.. but, sometimes it's just nice to sell the odd one or two.. Occasionally I put a few names up on sedo with a bin.. but I usually keep them on 'make offer'..

I agree with everything said about VR being the stronger contender.

Here's something else to consider;

Even Microsofts Hololens, which is supposed to be the biggest AR poster child, is commonly referred to as a VR device.

Google "Microsoft VR" and you'll notice that half the results don't even acknowledge AR's existence. Google "Oculus AR" and you might find one article (if you're lucky) mistaking VR for AR.

The people have spoken.

Maybe AR will be a big thing one day but, by that time, we (the VR people) will be too late and too busy, enjoying our VR earnings. :lookaround:

I'm not a VR fanboy or what you guys call it ...I'm only a $ fan - if AR starts selling I'll be there in a flash.

Whatever brings the $ I'm in simple as that.

if you want to have additional ideas of things to reg or general outlines etc... you can get some half decent ideas (depending on when those people got to the handreg feeder) from many online sites including this one here:

http://virtualrealityindustry.com/domains/

hope this helps
goodluck
I really like how you have your site looking. It looks like your playing the spread. Smart move! Many killer names in there !!

VROLO.com I always liked the way OlO and oLo looks in tech domains plus all quality radio test passing vr+vcv are long taken. I got vrolo in auction.

Hi.
For some time I had on my wish list that keyword. I too like, especially the direct relationship with the goggles and headsets ( O = eye I = nose ) . With this contribution of yours , I just decide and have registered OIOVR dot com .

And as a couple so that it is not just another word's game that related to learning :

COGNITIVR dot com.

And with regard to discussions on the subject and so I tried : VR VS AR , say that will coexist and in many cases will be symbiotic . We do not waste our valuable time with pointless disputes and employ our energies on finding good names . From today 's conference at E3 Oculus VR will take off and our investments are going to revalue .

Good hunting .

I thought this was a very interesting article in the Sports section of Wednesday's USA Today newspaper re. the use of VR in college football (American style that is),
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...ality-training-college-quarterbacks/28725797/

USA Today has also done quite a few other articles on VR & AR recently as well. But as a bit of a disclaimer, my opinion is that a large percentage of their articles are largely PR pieces/advertorials for promoting specific products or companies.

You might want to see if you can get a refund on that as it's going to be a TM issue! Drop it no matter whether you can get a refund or not. There's at least one WIPO decision regarding a similar domain.

I've even avoided using it here in my quote of your post so that you can edit the dn name out of yours before it gets seen by too many people.

----- EDIT ---------

Glad to see you listened to my advice and at least edited the DN out. ;) Hope you get a refund and good luck with your future reg's!
